LifeSize announces new products advancing HD video communications

Today, LifeSize announced several new products to enhance business information sharing, video communications and to streamline connectivity.
The new version of the LifeSize software, Version 4.7 allows businesses and organizations to easily share information such as presentations and spreadsheets over the network using LifeSize Passport and the new video conferencing system, LGExecutive with a new software application, LifeSize Virtual Link, enabling data sharing with a PC or Mac.
The 4.7 software update also enables both LifeSize Passport and LGExecutive, powered by LifeSize, to stream live HD video and record, using the LifeSize Video Center. In addition, the LifeSize Desktop updated Version 2.0 software now supports data sharing and 720p HD transmit capability for more productive discussions and meetings.
In addition to these software updates, LifeSize also announced infrastructure enhancements for broader, more secure deployment and easier administration.
The new LifeSize Transit Client, combined with LifeSize Transit Server, provides a complete state-of-the-art network address translation (NAT) and firewall traversal solution for businesses, to ensure HD video calls can be made reliably both within and outside the organization.
