The Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine is a leader in training dedicated osteopathic primary care physicians who are prepared to address the most pervasive medical needs in the state and the nation. Over the last five years, Heritage College expanded from a single campus to three campuses. With the use of video conferencing technology, enrollment nearly doubled, while faculty and staff increased by 15% and 16%, respectively. 

CHALLENGE

The Heritage College sought ways to better connect its faculty and student teams across its three campuses.

SOLUTION

T1V worked closely with Heritage College to create a miltisite, mulitcampus active learning environment to enhance cross-campus teaching and learning engagement and collaboration.  T1V implemented ThinkHub Education Multisite to power eight Active Learning Classrooms (ALCs) which expanded connectivity and collaboration across all three campuses.

ThinkHub Education MultiSite collaboration software powers eight Active Learning Classrooms across all three Heritage College locations for campus-to-campus connectivity. Each ALC has multiple mobile carts with large interactive displays that provide total flexibility to faculty.  They can easily reconfigure the space for different on-site class sizes and class types or to teach a fully remote or hybrid classroom of students. With the quality of the student experience as a top priority, ThinkHub Education MultiSite software leverages engagement and collaboration for a virtually equal classroom learning environment.
